Our commitment

The Company is committed to responsible stewardship of its assets and the environment.

While shipping remains by far the most efficient method of transporting bulk commodities based on CO₂ emissions per unit of transport work, it is nevertheless responsible for around 2.9% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

The Company is heavily engaged in industry initiatives to promote cleaner shipping and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement, including through cooperation with the Getting to Zero Coalitions.
