ESG and engagement committee
The ESG Steering Group comprises Mr Charles Maltby (independent, non-executive Director), Mr Alex Slee (Deputy CEO), and Ms Zita Fafalios (ESG & Sustainability Lead) and oversees and reports on all sustainability policies and initiatives ensuring that the Company remains committed to responsible stewardship of its assets and the environment.
TMI’s ESG policy and objectives are set and monitored by the Board, including agreeing the Charter under which the ESG Steering Group operates. In conjunction with the Audit, Risk & Engagement Committee, the ESG Steering Group is responsible for working with our external service providers and other key stakeholders to progress our decarbonisation priorities and other critical environmental, social and governance objectives.
The Board takes into account the views of all key stakeholders as part of its decision making and has established an Audit, Risk & Engagement Committee to oversee the Company’s key business relationships, including assessing their performance, ensuring the terms remain fair and reasonable and that continuing the engagement remains in the interest of shareholders.
